I spent 30 years in the fields of engineering and science. I wrote and edited technical manuals for companies all across Europe. I also travelled extensively around the UK and Europe providing engineering solutions, giving presentations and consulting for many global science brands, including Thermo Fisher Scientific, Fritsch GmbH, Erlab, Buchi and Memmert GmbH.
During those years I spent a lot of my spare time writing for print, online and social media. I wrote content for news organisations such as Newsquest Media Group and National World plc, I edited web pages and wrote advertising copy for a number of businesses, as well as putting together funding bids for organisations.
I'm now in my 50s, and in the last few years have switched to writing, proofreading and editing full time. I'm a husband and a father before anything else. Working mostly from home has allowed me to see more of my wife and my two grown-up boys. They are my 'Why'.

We Support Blood Cancer Charities
Guerrero is committed to donating a percentage of our time and income to a number of blood cancer charities. Blood cancers, mostly consisting of leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, are the fifth most common cancer group in the developed world, and in terms of life expectancy are far more deadly than other more common cancers. However, the amount of funding into research to prevent and cure blood cancer lags behind many other, more visible cancers.
